Schools and groups
Throughout the year, we have visits from several school classes and kindergartens, both during the winter and the summer. This is one of the nicest things we as host experience during the year, and we always look forward to. If you want to bring your school class or kindergarten group, we are happy to help you with planning the trip and suggestions for activities. We have conference rooms that can be used as classrooms or as a place for games and activities in the evening. Contact us by email or give us a call on the phone for more information.
Meetings, office, spaces and staff trips
Whether you want to take the corporate sports team on a ski trip, glacier tour or bike ride, or if you want a break from colleagues and spend some time for yourself at a mountain office at Finse, we have what is right for you. We are happy to help with planning activities and organising a trip, regardless of whether the entire stay is here at Finsehytta, or you choose to take the path on to other cabins. At Finsehytta, we have excellent Wi-fi connection for a successful conference, and what you would need of technicalities to do a meeting or conference here. Organisations and other groups
We get visits from many different types of groups throughout the year and are always open to new ideas or concepts. Yoga weekend, ski association on a long trip, sports team, knitting club, adapted trip for people with reduced mobility or the senior club on a mountain trip? Whatever your group is called, we are ready to give you an unforgettable experience here at Finse!
Conference rooms at the cabin
At the cabin we have three conference rooms. The rooms Jomfrunut and Kongsnut can accommodate a maximum of 20 people for meetings or conferences and are 26 m2. Brebua is a larger room with room for a maximum of 40 people for a meeting or conference and is 50 m2. All rooms have a projector and the equipment you need for the conference but can also be used as a place for planning your hike, courses or getting to know each other in the evening.
Get in touch if you want more information. When booking meeting rooms at the prices below, it includes simple serving of fruit and coffee / tea. Feel free to contact us if you want to order lunch or other dining outside.

Important information
Before the start of the trip, it is important that good preparation done when it comes to trip planning in collaboration with the hosts and the group travelling. We have a large hiking map that shows hiking opportunities at the cabin. For bicycle rental, contact Finse 1222, or Haugastøl bicycle rental. We kindly ask that you consider the other guests at Finsehytta during your stay. Finsehytta has quiet time between 23.00-07.00. It is not allowed to bring your own alcoholic beverages to Finsehytta.
Easy access for everyone
Finsheytta has good facilities for people with disabilities. In Brebua, all the rooms and facilities are on one floor. In Finsehytta we have a living room, dining room and WC on one level, with a stair lift between two levels in the facility, to reach the room and shower. Access on gravel road a few hundred meters to the cabin from the train station (summer).
Tents
Finsehytta unfortunately does not have tent sites. Tents can be set up on the south side of Finsevannet. It is free. Tents are still welcome to use the toilet, shower (NOK 20) and other facilities at the cabin. It is thus possible to sleep one night in a tent and one in the cabin or have the entire stay in a tent and be served dinner and breakfast at the cabin.
